That’s right boys and girls Randy Couture is back in the UFC. He has been out of the scene for 11 months due to contract disputes with the UFC. Randy has tried to move on to other organizations in order to fight the best fighter in the world Russian Heavyweight Fedor. The UFC and Randy have put their differences aside for now and that fight very well might take place in the future. For now, word is Randy will be fighting relative newby but Juggernaut Brock Lesnor and if Randy wins word is Fedor will be in the plate for him in early 2009.
For those of you that don’t like or know that much about MMA this is like the Boston Red Socks coming back in after sitting out for a year.

After 11 months of fighting in the courts it looks like the UFC and Randy Couture have buried the hatchet. The promotion is holding a press conference on Tuesday at Noon PT to announce a new deal with the heavyweight champion.
Couture is expected to face Brock Lesnar at UFC 91 in Portland in what could be the biggest pay-per-view show in the UFC’s history.

I can’t seem to stay away from Olympic pictures. What can i say, the stuff is fascinating. Damn you Phelps, damn you. This site put together a whole bunch of cool pics that capture the athletes in their moments of glory, pain, sadness, embarrassment, heart ache and triumph. So this taekwondo dude got pissed at the ref for being disqualified. Supposedly he took to long to be checked out by the doctors (It seems as if there are rules as to how long you can take to be cleared… Damn rules) and therefore, according to the rules was declared the loser of the match. Evidently he had a broken toe on his left foot. This did not stop him from kicking the ref in the face. His foot couldn’t have been hurt to bad if he could still tag a guy in the grill. Man the Olympics rule. Fingers in orifices, hot gymnasts that can knock people out and now crazy Cubans wrecking unexpecting judges. I love the good will of international play.
