This Kid rules to much!

He’s so good at baseball the other kids won’t play with him, so they are kicking him out of the league.  He throws a fast ball 40mph!  That’s to awesome for this Connecticut little league team. Connecticut sucks balls! (I always knew it did and this proves it even more. What a bunch of pussies.)

This article  explains more about it.  I say let him play or if he’s to good, let him move up to the older league. You can not punish a kid for being to good at a sport can you?

Evidently in that particular inner-city rec league the kids can’t hit baseballs, because the real news flash is that 40 mph for a 9 year old is NOT amazing or phenomenal. Happens all the time. My own son threw 40 at 9, 50 at 10 and now 60 at 11, and he dosen’t come from Mars or threaten the safety of others. In the REAL Little League World Series 12 year olds throw 70+ mph all the time. Sounds like the organizers have another agenda going on.

sounds like your kid is the shit. Not to dump on anyone else accomplishments, but throwing a 40-50 fast ball at 9 is amazing, no matter how many kids can do it. My bet is that only a very small percentage of kids playing baseball that can accomplish this. What’s important here is not to down play what this kid can do but to wonder why they are stopping him from doing it. I agree, there sounds like there are some behind the scene motive here.

Parents and adults involved in kids sports need to take a step back sometimes. they are not the ones playing. Their glory days are over. Let the kids play and may the talent shine and the best ones do what they do best.
